Here's how to activate PushCrew on your Joomla website. To start with, follow these instructions for getting your account id. 

  1. Install the PushCrew plugin in your Joomla dashboard. Log in to your Joomla administrator dashboard and go to Extentions > Mange. Next, search for PushCrew in the "Install from Web" search bar, select the plugin and click on Install.

  2. Activate plugin & insert your Account ID. After you have installed the PushCrew plugin, you will need to activate the plugin. For that, go to Extensions > Plugins then search 'PushCrew'. Select the plugin and change Status to 'Enabled', enter your Account ID (see Step 1) and click Save & Close. You can find your account ID by following these instructions

  3. Collect opt-in from your visitors and increase your subscriber count. You are now ready to start using PushCrew! As soon as someone arrives on your website, an opt-in box will appear asking the visitor to subscribe to push notifications from your website. If the visitor clicks on “Allow”, he/she is added to your subscriber list. You can customize the opt-in message as well as the number of seconds after which the opt-in box appears, right from inside your PushCrew dashboard.

  4. Send your first notification. It’s time to send your first notification! Just log in to your PushCrew dashboard, compose a title and message for the push notification and you're good to go!
